Today, at AICEP Lisbon offices, we welcomed Ambassador Koji Haneda, Commissioner General of Expo 2025 Osaka. The Deputy Director of the Economic Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Hoshiai Chiharu, and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Lisbon, Iwato Takahiro accompanied him.
Expo's Osaka Commissioner has met with Filipe Santos Costa, CEO of AICEP to discuss the next World Expo.
The visit was also accompanied by the Executive Board Member of AICEP, Luís Rebelo de Sousa and the Director of the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Bernardo Amaral.
"Designing Future Society for Our Lives" - under this theme, countries worldwide will meet in Japan. The Expo will open its gates in Osaka from 13 April 2025 to 13 October 2025.
