Visitors to the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka can take a bit of the Portuguese experience with them through an exclusive merchandising line. The items available will be pins, bags, pens, notebooks, T-shirts and illustrations, all designed to reflect the Pavilion's visual identity and the theme of Portugal's participation: 'Ocean, The Blue Dialogue'.
Inspired by the interconnection between oceans, energy, and cultures, the products' aesthetics translate into a dynamic and sophisticated graphic approach in line with the tastes of the Japanese public. In addition, the visual elements of the merchandising incorporate the architecture of the Pavilion, namely the stylisation of the 'ropes', one of the icons of the immersive experience offered to visitors.

Sustainability takes centre stage throughout the creative and production process. The options adopted follow the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle principle, with concrete measures such as eliminating unnecessary labels, reducing packaging and using ecological solutions with a low environmental impact. For example, the t-shirt packaging has been designed to minimise waste while highlighting the design and quality of the organic cotton. The printing process favours minimalism and efficiency, reducing water and ink consumption.
With this approach, the merchandising of the Pavilion of Portugal not only prolongs the memory of the visit but also reinforces the message of innovation and commitment to sustainability, promoting a unique and responsible experience.
