The Portugal Pavilion has welcomed over 900,000 visitors in the first three months of Expo 2025 Osaka, making it one of the most visited and recognised spaces at the event.
Portugal’s participation in the Expo has stood out for its dynamic programme, which brings together culture, innovation, and sustainability under the theme “Ocean, the Blue Dialogue.”
Since April, the Pavilion has hosted concerts, exhibitions, immersive experiences, business meetings, and economic diplomacy initiatives, promoting Portuguese talent and the capabilities of national companies, while strengthening economic relations between Portugal and Japan.

Tsumugi, only 4 years old, was the 900,000th visitor to the Portugal Pavilion.
Portugal’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, which runs until 13 October, is organised by AICEP – the Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency – with the involvement of multiple public and private entities.
