Excitement is building as Portugal makes progress on its pavilion for Expo 2025 Japan, with an important site visit and working session held on October 25 to finalize key aspects of the design.
Led by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the meeting brought together AICEP representatives and key partners to refine the details for the Portugal Pavilion. The team included Rimond Group (contractor and project manager), Kengo Kuma & Associates (subcontracted designer), Rebirth (subcontractor), and VHM (project supervisor), all working collaboratively to bring this ambitious vision to life.
The Portugal pavilion, with its theme "Ocean, the Blue Dialogue," will shine a spotlight on Portugal’s deep maritime heritage, sustainability innovations, and commitment to the future of our oceans.
As preparations continue, Portugal is poised to present a cutting-edge exhibition that highlights the nation’s dynamic role in global sustainability efforts. Join us on this exciting journey to Japan, where we will share Portugal’s vision for a sustainable and ocean-centric future.
