On 6 and 7 September 2025, TOYNO will be present at the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, as part of the international exhibition Designing Future Society for Our Lives.
TOYNO Space & Experience Design Studio is dedicated to designing spaces and experiences that create vibrant and meaningful environments for people – from museums and cities to classrooms and service counters. With a people-centred approach, it develops collaborative projects that bring together experts and users, believing in the potential of spaces to educate, inspire, and promote values such as sharing, collaboration, and participation.
At Expo 2025 Osaka, TOYNO will showcase its work for the National Museum of Natural History and Science in Lisbon. This work was developed in the context of Lisbon Green Capital 2020: the exhibition Natural Variations, which explores Portuguese marine biodiversity and highlights the ocean as a shared heritage. This is one of several projects developed in science communication in collaboration with museums and science centres.

In parallel, TOYNO will invite visitors to engage with its methodology through a participatory challenge: to imagine and share what the world might look like 100 years from now. This is an open and collaborative proposal fully aligned with the Expo's theme and TOYNO's mission.
This participation is part of the official Portuguese programme, organised by AICEP – Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency. TOYNO is supported by Portuguese partner companies to bring collaborative design to Japan and to emphasise, at Expo 2025 Osaka, the importance of imagining possible futures together.
